坪林的茶農家，幾乎家家戶戶都會養蜂，就在青心烏龍樹種春茶採收之前，許多蜂箱已是滿滿的蜜了。

春蜜與冬蜜不同，著重清香，是因為此時的蜜蜂配合春暖花開時節，順應氣候來採花蜜，而這正是台灣山村的生活型態 ─ 順應自然。

 

Almost every household in Pinglin’s tea farms keeps bees.
Right before harvesting the spring tea, when the Qingxin Oolong tree gets picked,
many beehives are already full of honey.

Spring honey is different from winter honey. Its flavour is fresher and more elegant.
That is because the bees adapt to the warm spring season when collecting nectar.
The bees’ behaviour perfectly reflects the lifestyle of the
Taiwanese mountain villages – the total harmony with the laws of nature.
